I'm going to get in trouble for not having an academic affiliation, aren't I. Well, crap.

I love languages. I've always known I loved words; as a child, I loved to read for the sake of moving my eyes over the black squiggles on a white page and being transported to far and distant lands of history or adventure. I thought for over ten years I was fated to be a novelist. That maligned goal has faded from life, with a great deal of distress, but now I'm free, in a sense, to pursue other paths. At least, that's the hope.

I have a Bachelors of Arts, and my majors were English Creative Writing and German language. I also have just enough Japanese to know better than to try to do anything with it : p.
