Rekonstruktion ist die Wiederherstellung von Eigenschaften, Wörter oder Konstruktionen ausgestorbener Sprachen durch die komparative Methode. Rekonstruktion ist besonders in der historisch-vergleichenden Sprachwissenschaft wichtig.
