Born on 01.01.1984 Tariq Khan is a Ph. D student at the Center for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies, University of Hyderabad. He did his M.A (2009) and M. Phil (2010) in Applied Linguistics from the same center. His interest areas in Linguistics include Humor & Jokes, Language Acquisition & Processing, Language & Cognition etc. He speaks English & Hindi-Urdu and knows Roman, Devanagari and Perso-Arabic (Nastaliq) scripts.
