Linguistic research articles are one of Glottopedia's article types. They deal with topics relating to linguistic research activities, such as conferences, journals, institutions, and individual linguists.

In this regard, Glottopedia is very different from Wikipedia, which limits itself to classical encyclopedic information. Linguistic research articles are all assigned to the category Category:LING.
