Definition

Activity is a type of situation (or state of affairs) which is durative and atelic.

Examples

English

  • verbs of motion: hunt, walk, run
  • verbs of action: talk, read, work
  • verbs of active perception: listen to, watch

Example sentences:

  • He was taking a walk .
  • He was reading a book .
